Federal judgments against toy distributor in sexual harassment case

Judge James Gritzner has filed judgments of more than $12 million in two different sexual harassment and discrimination cases against Manley Toy Direct LLC and its various corporate iterations. The company operates a distribution center in Indianola. The judgments include an $11.9 million jury verdict won by Danielle Rennenger on Aug. 5. Manley’s defense attorneys submitted a confession of judgment on Oct. 13 for an additional $150,000 in the case of Ammee Roush, whose case was set to go to trial Oct. 26 before Gritzner. Read more
