Female business owner earns national recognition
Michelle DeClerck, founder of Conference Event Management in Clive, was recognized recently by event planning magazine MeetingsNet as a Top 20 Change Maker in the Event Industry for 2016. DeClerck was honored for “relentlessly giving back,” according to the organization’s website. Conference Event Management helps companies achieve their goals and increase sales by creating and implementing reward strategies through professional planning and facilitation of meetings, incentive trips, conferences and special events. DeClerck was named Clive Citizen of the Year earlier this year.
