Firestone Complete Auto Care plans to construct an 8,473-square-foot automotive repair and tire sales facility at 4850-4858 N.W. Urbandale Drive in Urbandale. On April 11, the Urbandale Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that the City Council approve a preliminary plat and a site plan to allow for the construction of the proposed building, which will include a customer waiting area and a service area with four overhead doors. City records indicate that building will be constructed primarily with brick to comply with the requirements of the Urbandale Marketplace III planned unit development master plan.
