Flood center develops mapping software
The Iowa Flood Center (IFC) at the University of Iowa has developed a flood-prediction tool with the goal of helping Des Moines residents better understand flood risks and anticipate the impact of future projected floods. The information is available on a Google Maps-based application. To use the interactive maps, click here and click on “Flood Maps” under the Iowa Flood Information System.
