The Food Bank of Iowa, Orchestrate Hospitality and four local nonprofits — Urban Dreams, New Life Center, Catholic Charities and St. Vincent de Paul — are partnering to provide free hot meals to Des Moines families, the Food Bank of Iowa announced. Hot meals are prepared by Orchestrate Hospitality catering staff using food provided by the Food Bank of Iowa, and are distributed by staff and volunteers in the four partner organizations. The effort is expected to serve 2,000 individuals each week through the end of August. Times and locations are posted online, and anyone in need of a meal is welcome, the Food Bank of Iowa said.
