Central Iowa’s future is in good hands, as you’ll see when you read about the members of the Business Record’s “Forty Under 40” class for 2011. The young honorees have put together remarkable resumes, filled with professional success and civic contributions, and we’re proud to recognize their achievements.

We’re also happy to recognize Kyle Krause, CEO of Kum & Go, as the 2011 Northwestern Mutual –The Erhard Financial Group Alum of the Year.

The public is invited to meet the honorees at an event scheduled for March 29 at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown at Seventh Street and Grand Avenue. Registration and networking begin at 4:30 p.m., and hors d’oeuvres will be provided. We’ll introduce the class individually beginning at 5:15.

The University of Iowa’s Tippie School of Management, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Iowa Health System, Merit Resources and West Bank are sponsoring the event. Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. sponsors the Northwestern Mutual –The Erhard Financial Group Alum of the Year.
