The Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation announced it has awarded $82,547 in oral health grants to 12 Iowa agencies. Greater Des Moines organizations receiving grants include Mercy College of Health Sciences, $9,940 for transportation for homeless individuals to received dental care at Des Moines Area Community College; United Way of Central Iowa, $10,000 for its Stand Down and Smile event; and the Iowa Dental Association, $10,000 for an education session at the organization’s annual conference.
