The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines and Wells Fargo Bank are offering two free seminars on Nov. 27 for nonprofit fund-raising professionals and professional advisers.

“To Give or Not to Give: An In-Depth Discussion on Giving Odd Assets” will examine the top 10 odd gifts as well as discuss tax and legal issues of giving and accepting odd assets. This seminar will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

“Talk Your Talk and Walk Your Walk: Not Your Boring Ethics Talk” will look at the ethics of charitable giving from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Both sessions will take place at Des Moines Golf and Country Club, 1600 Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines.
