A new poll finds a record number of U.S. women are dissatisfied with the way women are treated in society. According to a Gallup poll released last month, only 46 percent of women are pleased with society’s treatment of women. This marks a 15-percentage-point decline since summer 2016, before the #MeToo movement exploded in the U.S. Other findings included in the Gallup poll: 61 percent of men are satisfied with how women are treated in society, a five-percentage-point decline since 2016. The 19-point gender gap was the highest ever recorded, though men consistently have been more satisfied with the treatment of women, according to findings. Read full poll results online
