The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR), a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners aimed at streamlining producer licensing, announced its new board members and director for 2019 during its winter board of directors meeting in January. Nick Gerhart, former Iowa insurance commissioner and current chief administrative officer of Farm Bureau Financial Services in West Des Moines, will serve as the representative of the newly merged trade association American Property and Casualty Insurance Association on the NIPR board.
