Glen-Gery Brick in W.D.M. to be sold
Australia-based Brickswork Ltd. plans to buy brick and stone manufacturer Glen-Gery Corp. by the end of the year, a transaction that will include a supply outlet in West Des Moines and a plant in Redfield. Overall, the deal includes 10 plants and 10 supply centers around the United States. The parent company of Glen-Gery, Ibstock PLC, is based in England and bought Glen-Gery in 2014. Ibstock plans to focus on its core business in the United Kingdom. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
