Google invests another $1B at Council Bluffs
Google plans an additional $1 billion expansion of its data center in Council Bluffs through 2019, which will bring its total investment there to $2.5 billion. The addition will add 35 jobs to the company’s 300-employee workforce in Council Bluffs. The Iowa Economic Development Authority board on Friday approved an additional $19.8 million in tax credit benefits, bringing the total for the Phase II project to $36.6 million.
