Before HACAP, Gorkow worked in marketing, public relations and community relations roles. She begins her new roles Nov. 5. “I’m so glad to welcome Linda to the work of the Iowa Hunger Coalition,” said the Rev. Sarai Rice, chair of the Iowa Hunger Coalition. “We had a wonderful beginning with our first director, Regenea Hurte, and are looking forward to continuing to grow statewide and to being a voice for hungry people across Iowa.” The Iowa Food Bank Association is a collaboration of six of the Feeding America Food Banks serving Iowa; the Iowa Hunger Coalition is a broad, statewide coalition whose purpose is to advocate and educate on issues surrounding hunger.
