Great Ape Trust teams up with fundraising organization
Great Ape Trust is partnering with a new nonprofit group, Bonobo Hope, to launch an international fund raising effort to support the trust. Sue Savage-Rumbaugh, a senior scientist at the trust, is the president of Bonobo Hope, which is leading the effort to keep Great Ape Trust operational. Through 2011, the trust was solely supported by founder Ted Townsend, who ended his funding commitment at the end of the year. For the full press release, click here.
