Greater Des Moines foreclosure rate remained below 1 percent in August

60 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentThe rate of foreclosures among active mortgages in Greater Des Moines dropped 0.31 percentage points over the year ending in August to 0.67 percent, real estate analytics firm CoreLogic Inc. said. Mortgage loans that were at least 90 days delinquent dropped to 1.8 percent from 2.4 percent over the same period. The national foreclosure rate was 0.90 percent in August.
