90 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentHouse sales and pending sales increased in April by month-to-month and year-to-year measures, the Greater Des Moines Association of Realtors said. The inventory of houses listed for sale dropped below 3,000 in April, and the average sale occurred with 96 days of a listing. Sales increased to 1,211 in April from 1,142 in April 2015 and pending sales increased to 1,785 from 1,727 over the period. The median sales price increased 7.4 percent from a year ago to $175,000. Listings dropped to 2,962 in April from 3,921 a year ago.
