The Greater Des Moines Partnership announced that it will host a multicultural reception on June 25 in partnership with the city of Des Moines. The free event aims to provide networking opportunities for those in the community who are passionate about building an inclusive community for the region, a news release said. The event, held at the Des Moines Heritage Center, will begin with a roundtable discussion at 4:30 p.m., where attendees will learn about the city of Des Moines’ procurement process, including information about how businesses can register as vendors and receive news about upcoming city bids and opportunities.
