Greenwald named SBA regional advocate
Becky Greenwald is the new regional advocate for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy Region VII, covering the states of Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. Greenwald, who ran for Congress in 2008 in an unsuccessful bid to unseat Rep. Tom Latham, will be the Office of Advocacy’s direct link to small business owners, state and local government agencies, state legislators, trade associations and small business organizations. Greenwald, formerly a service manager with Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc., has worked in the agricultural sector in the Midwest for more than 20 years. She has an M.B.A. from Drake University and a bachelor of science degree in family environment from Iowa State University. She will work from the SBA district office in Des Moines.
