Mike Grever has been promoted to director and general manager of the Weitz Co.’s commercial division, the company announced this week.

The company said in a news release that Grever joined Weitz in 2015 as a project executive, and was instrumental in improving customer experiences, driving operational excellence and delivering value across the some of the company’s high-profile initiatives.

Grever helped streamline the company’s approach to customer service, pre-construction and construction processes, and building motivated teams, the news release stated.

Among the projects Grever has led are the Enso Village Senior Living and The Canopy at Mill District communities in California. He has also been critical in guiding the company’s growth and innovation, the news release stated.

Kevin McClain, president and CEO of the Weitz Co., said promoting Grever is a “testament to his outstanding commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.”

“Mike brings a deep understanding of how to exceed expectations and create lasting relationships, and I’m confident he will continue to lead with empathy, integrity and a relentless focus on putting the customer first,” McClain said in the release.

In the release, Grever said he’s honored to step into the role of leading Weitz’s commercial division.

“I’m passionate about what we do, and I’m excited to bring fresh ideas to the table and help push our team — and the entire organization — forward,” he said.
