Gronstal named president of NCSL
Iowa Senate Majority Leader Mike Gronstal has been named president of the bipartisan National Conference of State Legislatures. The organization represents 7,383 state lawmakers and more than 20,000 legislative staffers. Gronstal, 66,has been a state lawmaker for more than 30 years. A graduate of Antioch College in Ohio, the Council Bluffs resident is married and has two daughters.
