Habitat for Humanity to kick off young professionals program
Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity will kick off its Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) program from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on June 16 at Jethro’s BBQ, 3100 Forest Ave.
HYP is a philanthropic organization in which young professionals can volunteer and network. HYP holds happy hours, monthly volunteer days and fund-raisers. Other program chapters are located in Austin, Texas, Cincinnati, Miami and Seattle. For more information, send an email to hyp@gdmhabitat.org.
