Health insurance fair set for Jan. 11
The Polk County Health Department, A Mid-Iowa Organizing Strategy and other community partners are holding a health insurance enrollment fair on Jan. 11. The fair will feature professionals from Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa, Planned Parenthood of the Heartland, Coventry Insurance and CoOportunity Health, to help individuals understand their choices and the sign-up process. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Evelyn Davis Center, 801 University Ave., Des Moines. To register for the fair, email healthdept@polkcountyiowa.gov.
