Helin elected chair of Iowa Credit Union League board
Brent Helin, CEO of Des Moines Metro Credit Union, has been elected chair of the Iowa Credit Union League board. Helen Pearce, president and CEO of Cedar Falls Community Credit Union, was elected to serve as vice chair. Other Greater Des Moines credit union leaders elected to the board were Gary Key, Cornerstone Community Credit Union in Des Moines, and Dave Cale, Financial Plus Credit Union in West Des Moines. The 11-member board represents the interests of Iowa’s 92 credit unions and their more than 1 million members.
