114 wordsAll Latest News, Economic DevelopmentThe Iowa Economic Development Authority, which promotes the rehabilitation of historic properties as a way to build community economic development, has made a few recent announcements regarding historic properties:
- The 2026 Preserve Iowa Summit will be June 2-3, 2026 at the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny. Proposals for speakers and sessions will be accepted through Dec. 17.
- Nominations for Iowa’s Most Endangered Properties list for 2026 are due Dec. 9. The list helps connect property owners with preservation resources. More information is available online.
- Pre-applications for the Community Catalyst Building Remediation Program are due Jan. 29. The program supports building rehab to promote investment in Iowa communities. More information is available online.
