Home builders group predicts 22 percent increase in sales
The National Association of Home Builders predicted today that 647,000 new homes will be constructed in 2013, a 21 percent increase from this year.
Another 270,000 multifamily units will be completed next year, a 16 percent increase. House sales are expected to rise 22 percent to 447,000 units next year and jump to 607,000 in 2014, the organization said in a news release.
