Innovive Health, a home health care agency serving complex behavioral health patients, last week opened its new Iowa office in Des Moines. Innovive’s care model focuses on effectively treating patients who have multiple medical comorbidities with complicating behavioral illness, a news release said. The model aims to reduce emergency room visits and in-patient readmission. Innovive also has operations in Massachusetts and Colorado. “Innovive Health’s continued growth comes at a critical time as the nation’s health care system is facing a growing patient population with behavioral health needs and unprecedented staffing and economic pressures,” Joseph McDonough, CEO of Innovive Health, said in a prepared statement. “We are excited to open our new office in Des Moines, which will enable us to better serve this growing patient population in Iowa.
