Hope Ministries holding free ‘Meet the Mission’ event this Saturday

61 wordsAll Latest News, Nonprofits and PhilanthropyHope Ministries will host a “Meet the Mission” event Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at its location at 1310 Sixth Avenue in Des Moines. Attendees will tour the homeless shelter and assemble hygiene kits. Donations of meat for Hope’s community meal program are welcome, a news release said. The program provides more than 500 free meals a day.
