Hy-Vee and Tyson try to raise awareness with donation
Hy-Vee Inc. and Tyson Foods Inc. are donating more than 33,500 pounds of protein to the Food Bank of Iowa in conjunction with the Tyson “KNOW Hunger” campaign.
The donation is being made to draw attention to hunger relief in both urban and rural areas. The donation will be made at an event at 11 a.m. on Aug. 8 at the Food Bank of Iowa, 2220 E. 17th St.
