Hy-Vee donates to Drake
Hy-Vee Inc. has donated $300,000 to Drake University to help with construction of the Morgan E.
Cline Atrium for Pharmacy and Science, creating the Hy-Vee Student Learning Commons. Hy-Vee and Drake have a long history as partners, said Raylene Rospond, dean of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, in a release.
Rospond said Hy-Vee pharmacies have served Drake students well by giving them opportunities for on-the-job training at Hy-Vee stores, and 80 graduates since 2001 have started at a Hy-Vee pharmacy, according to a release.
