Input sought on Iowa State Freight Plan
The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking public input regarding the Iowa State Freight Plan. The Iowa DOT is developing the plan to guide future freight initiatives and investments in Iowa’s multimodal freight transportation system. A public input meeting will be held on June 8 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. in the DuPont East Room at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, 909 Robert D. Ray Drive in Des Moines. Iowa DOT personnel will be available to individually discuss the plan. The Iowa DOT will be accepting public comments on the plan through June 15. View the plan and related information online.
