Iowa architect’s spring meeting to focus on change
Leading and adapting to change will be the focus of the Iowa chapter of the American Institute of Architects’ 2011 spring meeting in Ames. “Morph: Transforming the Profession” is scheduled to take place on April 7 at the Gateway Hotel & Conference Center, 2100 Green Hills Drive. A number of panel discussions and workshops related to the changing architecture and design industries, as well as sustainable building practices and other topics, will follow a keynote address by Greg Papay, a partner with Lake/Flato Architects in San Antonio, Texas. Rusty Smith, associate director of the Alabama-based Auburn University Rural Studio, will speak in the afternoon. For more information, click here.
