Iowa City considers mandatory recycling
Iowa City is considering an ordinance that would require landlords to offer recycling pickup to tenants, the Iowa City Press-Citizen reported. The City Council is expected to consider a proposal that would require the service at buildings of more than four units. Some 1,000 apartment and condominium buildings aren’t covered by the city’s current residential recycling program.
