Iowa Department of Economic Development approves awards
The board of the Iowa Department of Economic Development today approved awards that will support the creation of up to 59 jobs in the state. New Horizon Cuisine, which has proposed to construct a new manufacturing facility in Ankeny, was among the Iowa companies to receive incentives. The company was given $259,000 in direct financial assistance from the Grow Iowa Values Financial Assistance Program and plans to add 15 jobs. Des Moines-based Torsion Mobile was awarded $50,000 from the Iowa Demonstration Fund.
