The Iowa e-Health Summit, an event that promises to be the largest and most comprehensive conference focusing on health-care  information technology, will be held Aug. 11-12 at the Meadows Conference and Events Center in Altoona. The summit is sponsored by the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care Regional Extension Center, Iowa Medicaid Enterprise and Iowa e-Health. Among the topics covered will be best practices and incentives for implementing electronic health records as well as information about planned health information exchange services.
