Iowa gas prices fall
The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline dropped 8 cents this week in Iowa, to $2.59 per gallon on Tuesday, AAA reported. The price is down 77 cents from a year ago. The national average on Tuesday was also $2.59, down 4 cents from the previous week. Wholesale ethanol prices were down 3 cents this week, closing at $1.46 per gallon.
