Iowa Governor announces ‘working together’ tour

Gov. Terry Branstad has announced a 43-city “Working Together for a Better Future” tour. Intended to highlight the administration’s plan to “build a strong fiscal foundation for the future and create jobs in Iowa,” Branstad said in a press release that he will travel the state to “discuss the state’s budget and our plans to restore honest budgeting practices.” The tour will kick off on June 6 in Polk County at 3700 S.E. Convenience Blvd. in Ankeny, followed by stops in Council Bluffs, Cedar Rapids and Davenport.
