Iowa Health graduates first leadership academy class
Iowa Health System’s Physician Leadership Academy graduated its first class of 35 doctors this week.
The academy is part of an Iowa Health strategy to transition from hospital-centered to physician-driven care.
The academy is designed to train seasoned physicians to become leaders in the hospital and within the health system in the transition by providing an intensive graduate-level course of study, accredited by the American College of Physician Executives.
