Home prices in Iowa should appreciate during the next 12 months, according to a report by Santa Ana, Calif.-based Veros Real Estate Solutions.

The company provides a 12-month price forecast on national real estate marketing by applying more than 50 decision factors into its analytics to develop predictions for 900 counties and 300 metro areas nationwide.

The report lists Iowa as a strengthening market, saying the forecast is “generally good.”

The report forecasts that about 40 percent of all metro areas will see appreciation in the next 12 months, and nearly 60 percent of markets will see appreciation in the next 24 months.
