Iowa leaders: Tell the EPA to protect ethanol standards and Iowa jobs
Quad-City Times: Iowa Sens. Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley and Gov. Kim Reynolds are urging farmers, biofuels workers and everyday citizens to voice their concerns about the fate of the Renewable Fuel Standard to the Environmental Protection Agency. Public comments through regulations.gov must be made by Nov. 29. The Renewable Fuel Standard is a federal rule mandating that biofuels such as corn-based ethanol make up an increasing portion of U.S. gasoline supply.
