Iowa’s physician licensing board today named its longtime lawyer as its interim executive director, while staying mum on why its former director abruptly retired last month after being suspended and then reinstated.

Des Moines Register: Iowa’s physician licensing board today named its longtime lawyer as its interim executive director, while staying mum on why its former director abruptly retired last month after being suspended and then reinstated. The Iowa Board of Medicine unanimously chose attorney Kent Nebel to lead the agency for the time being.
