Iowa Power Fund awards $9M for biorefinery
The Iowa Power Fund board has awarded a $9 million grant to Itasca, Ill.-based DuPont-Danisco Cellulosic Ethanol LLC, which plans to construct a commercial-scale demonstration biorefinery in Iowa. The estimated $235 million project, which is expected to result in the creation of at least 60 full-time jobs in Story or Webster County, is slated to be completed in March 2014. The site will likely be announced in early summer.
