Iowa ranks 12th in energy efficiency, up two slots
The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy has lifted Iowa two spots in the national rankings for energy efficiency, to 12th, the Iowa Energy Center reported. The group ranks states and the District of Columbia on utilities, transportation, building energy codes, combined heat and power, state-led initiatives and appliances. Iowa exceeded the median score in utilities, building codes and combined heat and power. Read more
