Iowa State University’s Campaign Iowa State capital campaign was completed at the end of June. The eight-year campaign began in 2003 with a goal of raising $800 million, and as of Monday it had raised more than $860 million. Donations were focused on support for four main areas: students, programs, faculty and facilities.

A look at the campaign by the numbers, as provided by the
Iowa State University Foundation:

• Around 42,000 private scholarship awards were given to students

• 81 new endowed faculty positions were created

• 24 facilities were built or renovated
