Iowa State names finalists for liberal arts dean  

Five finalists have been named in Iowa State University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences dean search. They are Albert Boggess, former head of the mathematics department at Texas A&M University, Carolyn Cutrona, chair of the psychology department at Iowa State, Chaden Djalali, chair of the physics and astronomy department at the University of South Carolina, Douglass Epperson, dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Washington State University, and Beate Schmittmann, chair of the physics department at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Campus interviews are scheduled for the last week of October.
