Corridor Business Journal: Katie Lammers has been selected as the honoree for Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity’s 10th Women Build home. Lammers has been in the remodeling business for 35 years, operating Lammers Construction Services with her husband, Dan. The business has the largest staff of female carpenters of any remodeling company in Iowa City. For 15 years, Lammers has volunteered her time as well as her staff’s time on the construction of Habitat homes. She also works with Kirkwood Community College’s carpentry program to host interns who have the chance to learn skills while working alongside her expert staff.
