Grant awardees receive up to $50,000 for programs addressing one of the six identified barriers to self-sufficiency for girls and women in Iowa: child care, housing, transportation, employment, mentorship and education/training. Iowa-based nonprofits, licensed child care centers and registered in-home child care providers are eligible and must submit a letter of interest by 5 p.m. on May 16.
