Iowans win national trade awards

125 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentSix Iowa apprentices won awards at the National Craft Championships competition hosted by Associated Builders and Contractors. Bringing home medals in the field of 200 were:
- Eli Hoyt of ACI Mechanical Inc. in Ames placed first in the plumbing competition and also received a safety award.
- Michael Jensen of Camblin Mechanical Inc. in Atlantic placed first in the HVAC competition.
- John Primakov of Primo Heating & Cooling in Indianola placed second in the sheet metal competition and also received a safety award.
- Kris Froehle of Insulation Contractor Services in Cambridge placed second in the insulation competition.
- Dustin Froehle of Insulation Contractor Services in Cambridge placed third in the insulation competition.
- Elijah Allison of Interstates Cos. in Sioux Center received a safety award in instrumentation.
