IRS releases tax liens against Vratsinas company
The Internal Revenue Service has released liens totaling $1.17 million against ICL Staffing Inc., a professional employer organization that does business as InFocus Partners in West Des Moines.
An attorney for the company said Oct. 22 that his client had paid the bill.
The lien was released Nov. 9, according to Iowa secretary of state records. John Vratsinas and companies related to InFocus that he founded have outstanding tax liabilities for failing to deposit payroll taxes for companies they represent, as well as related penalties.
Attorney Christopher James said arrangements are being made to erase those IRS debts by the first of the year. Click here for a related story.
