Des Moines-based Jacobson Cos., a third-party logistics service provider, announced today that it has established Jacobson Global Logistics Ltd. Based in Hong Kong, Jacobson Global Logistics will be a regional headquarters in Asia for Jacobson Cos. as it expands its end-to-end supply chain solutions business. “Asia and Greater China remain a vast opportunity for logistics service providers and is a significant source of trade for Jacobson’s trans-pacific business and operations network,” said Brian Lutt, president and CEO of Jacobson Cos., in a press release. Jacobson Cos. operates more than 35 million square feet of warehouse space worldwide and employs about 7,000 people.
