Jennings to resign Science Center presidency
Paul Jennings announced last week that he will resign as president and CEO of the Science Center of Iowa, and the nonprofit organization is looking for a new leader. Citing “family reasons,” Jennings plans to return to Great Britain. The Science Center’s board of directors is working with a national search firm to find a new president and CEO. “The board will seek candidates with science museum experience who demonstrate a passion for leadership and inspiring scientific exploration through education, exhibits and programs,” the Science Center said in a press release. For more information, contact board member Todd Senne at (515) 974-4700. Jennings’ last day at the Science Center will be Aug. 15.
